President and CEO, Co-Founded the company in 1999 around the idea of building an Internet Network and marketing platform for high schools nationwide. The company has never looked back.
Prior to BrainBox, Rick was a pioneer on the Internet in his role as Chief Operating Officer for the national collegiate marketing leader, Host Communications.
He oversaw the advent of digital publishing for over 700 collegiate and NCAA publications and the creation of Internet websites in the mid 90’s for major universities like
Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina and the Southeastern Conference, which led to his involvement in the creation, launch and sales of the first-ever NCAA Final Four website in 1997.
Rick likes to create things and work with creative people. That list of new ideas at BrainBox begins with the Great American Rivalry Series with the 10th anniversaries in 2013.
Rick enjoys his work but loves his family play time, which he does with his attorney wife Melissa and their two beautiful kids, Noah and Madison.
Joined BrainBox in 2005 and brought with her several years of valuable agency experience with companies in Atlanta and South Carolina, and with J. Walter Thompson. She also has tremendous experience with numerous sports organizations including, the Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Cubs, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, the Georgia Dome, and the USTA/ATP World Tour BB&T Atlanta Open. She also worked as the lead account manager for the Marines Corps NASCAR program. KP, as we like to call her, is results oriented and detail focused. Essential and valuable assets for her client’s success.
Habla Espańol? Kristen earned her B. A. in Sociology/Spanish from Emory University and spent a semester studying in Madrid, Spain. She is an active runner and has completed several marathons and triathlons. She is married to Greg “Iron Man” Parker and they have three children, Annabelle, Sam and Henry. Whew!

Director of Corporate Administration and “The Glue”, Tracey has been with the company since 2003 and came to BrainBox with a background in Accounting, Technical Support and Customer Service. Tracey helps manage the day to day project management needs at BrainBox’s corporate office and joins our Event Team onsite for select events throughout the year.
Her attachment to the youth market extends outside of the office. Tracey and her husband are the parents of a teenage son whose current interests include cross country running and pursuing an architecture degree.

Favorite all time athlete: Muhammad Ali was a leader in and out of the ring and has created an outstanding footprint for current and future athletes. Some may refer to him as a head strong but I find that to be a good thing in his case.

Joined BrainBox in 2017 bringing with him over 27 years of leadership, operations, and project management experience including 21 years as an Army Officer, Jumpmaster, and Special Operations Aviator with qualifications in 5 different helicopters. Scott’s assignments included tours in the 82nd Airborne and 101st Airborne Division, combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, and at the Pentagon. His last assignment with the Army was as the Commander of the Kansas State Army ROTC where he served as the Professor of Military Science. Following his military service, he was an Operations consultant for an internationally recognized aerospace company and the Director of Sales and Large Projects for an industry leading heavy haul and specialized rigging company.
Scott attended Old Dominion University where he wrestled and earned his B. A. in History from Christopher Newport University and Master of Science in Adult and Continuing Education from Kansas State University. He enjoys CrossFit, hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors with his family. Kentucky native Kyle Merritt Lake, earned a B.A. in Communications, Television and Theater Production from The College of New Jersey and a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis on marketing and management from the University of Kentucky Gatton School of Business and Economics. Kyle has enjoyed the opportunity to produce videos for a variety of companies all over the world including the Navy Seals, Horse Racing Television, Kraft Foods, the Nature Conservancy and PBS.
Kyle has been honored with a Rising Star Award, a Bluegrass Tomorrow Vision Award, a Telly, an Empixx Creativity Award and been nominated for 3 ADDY awards. In 2010 he received the Kentucky Enterprise Fund grant from the Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation. Kyle enjoys running, cycling and hiking and has set a goal to always travel to two new places each year.

BG Flowers has over 30 years experience as a leader and has been at the forefront of evolving Army leadership doctrine, training and leader development. He led the Center for Army Leadership during the Army’s critical transition into the 21st Century. He is also a Ranger trained Master Parachutist and rated as a helicopter operator on numerous machines.
He has commanded and led both small and large organizations and has extensive time leading military and civilian individuals—US and other nationalities. These include Forward Observer, Armored Cavalry Platoon Leader, Aero-reconnaissance Platoon Commander, Troop Commander, Squadron Commander and Commander of the 18th Aviation Brigade (Airborne) and Corps Aviation Officer.
He has served on the Army Staff, as the Director of Human Resources Policy. His most recent Joint Multinational tour was as the Chief of Staff for the NATO Kosovo force.
Flowers' personal decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Medal. He also possesses the Senior Army Aviator Badge, the Master Parachutist Badge, French, German & British Parachutist Badge, and is Ranger qualified. He is rated in the UH60 Blackhawk, UH1 Huey, AH1 Cobra, OH58A/C Kiowa and OH58D Kiowa Warrior.
Jayne Hancock is a multi-dimensional executive with proven experience in all aspects of business and consumer marketing, with particular passion and experience in sports ,media and entertainment.
An entrepreneur at heart, Ms. Hancock is also the founder and former President/CEO of the interactive agency, JHG, Inc., as well as the sports marketing firm Spectator Sports Communications, Inc.
Since 2011, Ms. Hancock has been working directly with Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and FanVision CEO Vic Pacor to re-launch the sports entertainment start-up FanVision. As part of the Executive Management Team, she consults on internal and external go-to-market strategies, business development, infrastructure development as well as communications planning and executions. Under her stewardship, FanVision has doubled customer acquisitions and added agreements with professional sports organizations worldwide.
Brandi joined the team in 2016 bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. She Attended Morehead State University where she earned her bachelors degree in Exercise Science and was a 4 year starter for the women's basketball team. She then went on to earn not one but TWO masters degrees. Masters of sports management from Morehead and a Masters of Integrated Marketing and Communications from West Virginia University.

Wayne joined the team during the fall of 2015. He earned a Bachelors degree in English Literature from the University of Louisville. Wayne has been involved in every aspect of the game of football. From star player to head coach and now Rivalry Series manager. Wayne knows more about the game than just about anyone.

Clint came on board at BrainBox just prior to the 2017 football season and the start of our Great American Rivalry Series. A native of Lexington, and graduate of P.L. Dunbar High School, Clint received his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Western Kentucky University in Spring of 2016.
While in school, Clint spent a semester studying at Harlaxton College in the U.K., which allowed him to travel around much of western Europe, and helped Clint realize his love for traveling. When he is not in the office Clint enjoys being active and playing sports as he is a fitness and nutrition enthusiast, but says that there is always time to be made for a pint of ice cream and his current favorite Netflix series, whatever that may be.
